New Forest Show Creche Hosts World of Thomas
World of Thomas are the official sponsors of the New Forest Show’s crèche which proved so popular last year. The Crèche, run by Highwood Nursery, will be decorated in the Thomas the Tank branding along with some free prizes and giveaways for all the child
Highwood Nursery has an excellent reputation and has recently had a very favourable report from Offsted. They are based at Brockenhurst College and cater for children from three months to eleven years old from 8 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday. For obvious reasons of staff management, the nursery would be grateful if parents booked places at the crèche in advance by ringing 01590 622342. Parents can book hourly slots, or longer, at a cost of £3.50 an hour.
The Creche is situated next to the main entrance with the World of Thomas stand opposite. The World of Thomas will provide children and parents alike with an Aladdin’s Cave of Thomas related products including Toys, Arts and Crafts, House & Home, Computer Games, Books , DVD’s, Clothing, Trains and Sets as well as signed merchandise by the author Christopher Awdry himself who will be in attendance at the show doing a book signing. He will also be doing a “Live Read” of some of the Thomas stories twice a day in the crèche at 11am and 2pm.
World of Thomas is the brainchild of Christopher’s daughter and Son in Law Emily and Edward who are equally passionate about the little Tank Engine and have started their own website to offer parents and children wonderful deals on an extensive range of Thomas the Tank products.
