Exploring the Countryside
The New Forest Tour
The summertime "hop on, hop off" open top bus service, a visitor attraction in its own right, now has two new buses which have doubled in frequency to every hour. Either sit back and enjoy a two hour tour, with its spectacular views from the top deck, or hop off anywhere along the route safe in the knowledge that another bus will be along in an hour to pick you up again..
The route takes in towns, villages, campsites and visitor attractions as well as catering for cyclists, who can take their bikes in the buses, thus enabling everyone to get around this wonderful corner of England without the need for a car.
The tour runs from 26th May until 2nd September 2007 seven days a week on an hourly timetable.

Cycling in the New Forest
The New Forest is a wonderful place to cycle. Over 100 miles of surfaced tracks, especially waymarked for cycling, guide you through mature woodlands or alongside open forest. Enjoy the shade of enclosures or the lovely heathland vistas with copses of trees, yellow flowering gorses and sight of the famous forest ponies.
